What is the Scheme?

PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana is a Government of India program that offers up to 80% subsidy for installing rooftop solar systems. Under this scheme, you can get up to 300 units of free electricity every month.

Eligibility

Applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Must own a rooftop on the property.

Electricity connection should be residential.
